IEEFA ENERGY FINANCE 2020: Coal Mine Closures

ACLC’s deputy director Mary Cromer presented at the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis’ Energy Finance 2020 virtual conference this week. She presented alongside Shannon Anderson of the Powder River Basin Resource Council. The presentation covered coal closures and resulting bankruptcies in Central Appalachia and Wyoming.

The presentation includes discussion on Blackjewel’s and Cambrian’s bankruptcy proceedings as well as relevant environmental violations. A fantastic and informative Q&A session follows.
