ACLC Revives Black Lung Bulletin from the 1970s
Our black lung organizer has been working around the clock to assist with virtual meetings for local Black Lung Associations (BLAs), but many members face barriers to participating from home. As a result, we’ve developed creative ways to stay in touch. From 1970 to 1972, a publication called the Black Lung Bulletin was distributed among Black Lung Association members. As a result of the pandemic, ACLC has helped BLAs to revive this publication. The first issue was mailed in August, and we hope this will help keep folks in the loop while they stay healthy at home.
