ANNOUNCEMENT: ACLC Welcomes Caroline Rubens As New Fundraising Officer
We are excited to welcome Caroline Rubens as ACLC’s new Fundraising Officer. Caroline brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She grew up in northern New Jersey and lived in New York City before moving to Eastern Kentucky in 2007.
Before joining ACLC, Caroline served as Director of the Appalshop Archive, where she oversaw the preservation of one of the country’s most important collections documenting Appalachian history. During her time at Appalshop, she also gained deep experience in fundraising, grant writing and donor engagement.
Caroline is passionate about ACLC’s mission to improve the health and well-being of Appalachian communities. She’ll be helping us grow our fundraising efforts, connect with supporters, and develop new funding sources to sustain and expand our work.
With ACLC’s 25th anniversary on the horizon, we’re thrilled to have her on board to help us celebrate this milestone and shape the future of our organization.
