ACLC Director Steve Sanders appears on Kentucky Tonight to discuss the future of coal and energy

July 2, 2013 ACLC News

ACLC director Steve Sanders appeared on Kentucky Educational Televisions’s weekly public affairs program Kentucky Tonight to discuss the future of coal and energy in Kentucky.  Steve was part of a panel including Bill Bissett, president of the Kentucky Coal Association; Elizabeth Crowe, executive director of the Kentucky Environmental Foundation; and Paul Thompson, chief operating officer of LG&E and KU Energy.
As part of a robust conversation, Steve brought insight to both the challenges we face in eastern Kentucky and the solutions we need to look to for a healthy future in the region.  The entire program is available online and you can watch it here on KET’s website.
