How Matching Gifts Work
Make your donation
Give to ACLC online, by mail, or through any of our giving methods.
Check eligibility
Ask your HR department if your company has a matching gift program, or use the search tool below.
Submit match request
Complete your employer’s matching gift form (usually online). You’ll need our tax ID and contact information.
We receive the match
Your employer sends their matching contribution directly to us. We’ll thank you for both gifts!
✓ Does Your Employer Match?
Many major employers offer matching gift programs, including:
- Tech companies (Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.)
- Financial institutions (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc.)
- Energy companies
- Manufacturing companies
- Retailers and many others
The easiest way to find out: Ask your HR department, or search your company’s intranet for “matching gifts” or “charitable giving.”
Many companies use platforms like Benevity, YourCause, or Double the Donation to process matches.
